That's about the size of New Braunfels. We also have two cities nearby. I really like being part of a community rather than a city. That's just me though.

Yeah...big enough to have everything you need, but still with a small town feel.

Really like it for sports...they have a good youth football and baseball program and for the most part the parents act right. Nice to run in those circles too, some of the parents remembered me from baseball and are trying to get their kids on my team. I take that as the highest compliment.

It does fuck up my workout routine though...had to do the elliptical in the garage for an hour this morning as opposed to running outside. Could have driven to the gym, but fuck that.

I can't tell you how many people we meet/know from youth sports in this joint. 6 kids who all played multiple sports. Well 5 really since my youngest daughter hasn't really done much.

Supposed to get -40 to -50 wind chill by tonight.

We will be back up to 44 again tomorrow, and then back to single digit wind chills the day after that. It's like a Fahrenheit roller coaster around here most winters.

That's too damn cold for anybody. This is out of the norm, it's not usually this cold.

But, over the last hour it's warmed up to -9. :fistpump
