Test...

I have been satisfied with FIOS. I have had Time Warner, ATT, Comcast etc. Never has a sattelite system but I understand they are very subseptabable to weather and environmental conditions. The main problem with FIOS I they limit themselves to what areas they will provide service so it's not available to some.

Wish I could get FIOS but I live in an older area of town and doubt it's ever available where I'm at now

I'm pretty much stuck with TWC where I am too, only other choice for me is Uverse and had that awhile back and it was actually worse. I have been thinking about getting Directv and just keeping TWC for internet though.

We have Uverse here, and had some installation issues at first, but once we got those cleared up, we haven't had any issues since. What problems did you have with them?

Happy belated birthday LT...sorry I missed it.

Hope it was a good one!

Constant outages, pixelated and/or freezing picture on hd channels, but what really pissed me off was being locked into the package price but yet bill showed I wasn't on half-a-dozen or so times and charged me full price and then having to call in and spend 30 minutes to an hour to get it corrected. But yeah other than all that it was ok and stuff

Sucks, man. Must have been the area. We haven't had any of those issues at all.

I've been a DirecTV subscriber for almost 20 years, and outside of them raising prices about every year its been a solid service.

I think I will wait to go Direct TV until I move into my new place in a few months. I don't want to set it up over there when installation is pretty much free, right?

Installation is free. And when you move, if you call them in advance, they'll reinstall for free. You leave the dish and cables behind, and take the receivers with you.

Don't you have to have a telephone land line for their service?
