He got shot by the police
Sorry, I've been bored lately.
Now that Jon88 is gone, can we eliminate the DCC Raw section?
They've got one of the old Karate Kid movies on AMC.
Am I the only one who got a kick out of it when Ralph Macchio would get his ass beat?
pdom, I'm headed to San Fran this morning. Are there any good bars or places to eat around the Grand Hyatt?

Funny enough, the downstairs food court in the Westfield SF Shopping Centre has a great selection of food. Better selection than your typical fast food restaurants.
Walk down Powell street towards Market St. Cross Market St and that's the mall. You should walk right by the trolley turnaround that'll have a long line of tourist waiting to board.
You forgot to tell him not to drop his wallet. If he does not to bend over and pick it up. Instead kick it all the way back to his room.
I think you're overestimating his type of crowd. For bars, you're pretty much in the most touristy area, so nothing really dive-bar-ish within walking distance. I can recommend a clean, comfortable Irish bar that's close. Johnny Foleys Iriah bar. 243 O'Farrell St on the other side of the Macys (opposite Union Square). If you want something older (never had the food, though) Lefty oDouls (333 Geary near mason st) is an old time sports bar that's made it through all the gentrification.
If you want dive bar-ish, take a cab for a short ride or a 15 minute walk to Polk St/Sutter St -- plenty bars up and down Polk St.
If you want real dive bar, VA Hospital type clientele, stroll down Geary St at Larkin St. However, I would not venture south of Geary St in that area (called the Tenderloin), where it's lots of hard drugs, homeless, prostitution.
He's from a Tech. He'll drop his wallet on purpose.
