EZ didn't give two shits about football.

Maybe he did back when some if you guys first met him in the early 2000's, but it's been a long ass time since he participated in any substantial football talk.

His activity, or lack thereof, for the last year or so was limited to random drive by trolling posts aimed at whoever he wanted to frick with for that particular day, sprinkled with the occasional beer or BBQ story.

Ah, and how could I forgot those pleasant tales of swingage.....:art

So unless you boys wanna talk about orgies while crafting brew and smoking pork asses, I don't think he's coming back.

I knew EZ for longer than most of the people on the board, he is an interesting character. He definitely cared/talked alot more about football back in the early to mid 2000's, I think he just changed as a person and kind of reveled in the fact that he didn't really care about football much anymore. I wonder how much of it was personal and how much of it was that the Cowboys just seemed hopeless, but either way it doesn't matter.

I also don't think he was ever a particularly knowledgeable football fan relative to guys like booze, he knew his shit compared to the average fan of course but I don't think he ever lived and breathed it compared to some of the guys that have posted with us over the years.

All in all, a pretty good dude though, just a bit of an asshole sometimes.
 
I think I actually met EZ once a few years back when he was in the DFW area. He worked for a cable provider and I was having problems with mine. He came out to my home and fixed the problem. That was a long time ago and this site wasn't up and running at time. What rang the bell for me was when I saw a picture of him years later. By that time he was relocated to another part of the country. My reaction at the time was that he was a nice young man who was interested in customer service. I can't actually validate however, that it was him.
 
EmmittZone22 was a whole lot happier fellow. One of the most visible characters of thecowboys.net when I showed up. Epic photoshops, funny post replies, and an "I don't give a shit" attitude towards the more hostile folks there.

I blame the name change to EZ for his downfall. :shrug

He was a good dude anytime I ever dealt with him, and I realize he could be a dick at times...it seemed to get worse the last few years.

But who of us doesn't change? Who doesn't find that one guy who we like to fuck with just because it pisses them off? Who doesn't let life take over and realize there are more important things sometimes?

I guess what I'm trying to say is that we all have had a little EZ in us at one point or another.
