Just saying the point of those threads was to shit on the side you and others had a habit of defending. Not a coincidence if those are the people who favor locking threads whose purpose is to bash their side.

Offensive is defensive. Isn't arguing on the offensive being defensive of your position? How can you argue without seeming defensive of your position?

The cop thread was the epitome of that. I just shat on cops, I never tried to justify a society without them.

It is silly...I showed examples of what works and what didn't. The last thread like that didn't...people became petty and childish, like you are doing now. So get over it...or don't, but to keep carrying on is silly. Stay mad and stomp around if you like though.

So is it safe to say that disagreeing with carp on any subject (cops, locked threads) is petty and childish no matter what manner it is conducted in? Does disagreeing put someone in the dangerous territory of not bringing enough "value".

Shit, I am not even mad you are just blatantly wrong. But this is the wrong thread so I will take your advice and drop it.

Edit: if you deconstruct the mindset behind this post it might be my most pitiful. After implying I was going to be the bigger man and not get the last word, instead of just private messaging him I had to announce to the board I was going to do that. Why? Because damn it, even if you all don't see my last word, you damn sure need to know I got it.

I have no opinion on the subject matter in that thread. It was pointless, so it got deleted. Like the last one...and any future versions. Nothing personal.

It is stupid to have big repository threads for various controversial topics or an individual poster's opinion on random issues.

If I'm wrong, let me know. I'll start dumping articles into The 'Abortion is Evil' Thread and whatever else pops into my mind as needing its own running discussion.
