Test...

You should never just do what someone else tells you. Be your own person, angry hispanic fella.

Anyone ever been to Jamiaca? Going in a few weeks. Got some tips from friends who have been. Anyone?

I can tell you that Jamaica is a place I've never been.

It's been a while since I was there but the Ocho Rios area is nice. Stay out of the Kingston area. It is on the opposite of the island. There are several tourist traps that are nice to try. The wedding falls, Queens stairs, etc. All worth doing. Go to the markets if you can find them and check out the spices and wood carvings for some souvenirs.

Also, 3 words to listen for if you get into an altercation.

Bumbackot - minor insult
Bloodclot - Worse, you may have a fight on your hands
Pussyclot - You might get murdered here

Tells everyone 'Jamaican me crazy!' and do the little gun point gesture with your finger

Pfft.

What 'good time' are they getting with his 4 inch dick?

Already got that. Everyone recommended it.
Depending on who and how many you go with, you might want to join a tour. I did it without one as it was just me, a few buddies and one girl all in our 20's. But if you have people that can't do physical stuff they may need help. Awesome place though.

Used to play poker at a house game with a bunch of jaimaicans. I was basically the only white guy there ever. They're not scary or aggressive like your traditional black. I used to take a lot of money from them some nights and never feared for my life.

Huge potheads though. Jesus... Used to get contact highs almost immediately after showing up because you'd walk in the room (game was hosted in the back of some club) and there was a fog of pot smoke lingering.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, you don't have to worry about getting jacked when you're down there.

Basically if I were president I'd export all the blacks from the ghettos but I'd let the Jamaicans stay. Good people.

I hired a tour guide who had a private vehicle to take us around the island. Be diligent however, to look the vehicle over especially the tires and air conditioning. There are some real junkers used on the island.

Directv subscribers, have you guys noticed this new rewind feature that allows you to rewind to the beginning of a program? It's not the normal DVR feature that's been around forever where you can rewind a show that you were already watching.

Say you're channel surfing and stumble across a movie you're interested in but it's been playing for 50 minutes, this new features allows you to rewind to the beginning of that movie and watch it from the begging.

One thing that sucks is once you start watching the movie you can't fast forward or REC it.

Is this a new feature? I just noticed it this morning.

I have Verizon and that feature is just on some programing. I also know that if you turn off your tv or cable box you can rewind the dvr to the beginning of the show of the channel it is on. The dvr buffer retains the show even though the box is off. The buffer dumps the program when another program starts and will retain it. The process is continual even with the box turned off.

Yeah it's on random channels. I guess it's a new update for Directv customers.
