I love a good meat and cheese sandwich, but sometimes, when I'm feeling a little extra........ Fancy? I like to add lettuce, pickles, salt and pepper to my sandwich. The lettuce has to be brand new though, it can't be something that's been in the fridge for a few days. I can't eat old lettuce.

I have been doing a lot of yard work the past few weekends. The house we moved in to had been empty for about a year, the people who own it would have the yard mowed but not much else. Now there is a thick layer of mulched leaves all over the back yard. I've bagged about 20 bags of mulched leaves over the past two weeks and the grass is starting to come back. I have a few areas that are just dirt though so I'm thinking about going and buying a pallet of sod to put down. Not sure how much money I want to invest though because we are just renting this house.

I installed drip irrigation in my garden a couple years back and haven't had a garden since.

That changes this year.

Have also been keeping a compost pile in the back yard for a couple years. Threw lots of it in the holes when planting this spring, so expecting some gangster ass tomatoes this summer.

It makes a difference to me LT, it makes a difference to me.

Plus lettuce is about $1.50 a head, and I would rather not "save" it for weeks at a time in the bottom of my fridge only to never be eaten.

We had an interesting discussion today at work regarding midgets and if they are real people. Think about it before you answer and consider the following;

Do you consider a turning lane on a highway to be a "real lane"?

Are midgets proportional? Webster's dictionary defines midgets as a smaller proportional person, I would argue that there is no such thing as a proportional midget.
