Test...

My mother in law is coming into town this weekend. I hate her. Like a lot. Carry on.

And, before anyone judges me for hating my MIL, she has told my wife (her own fucking daughter) she didn't love her anymore and to never call her again... twice. My wife had forgiven her for both instances, but, as I told my wife, I don't have to forgive her and I never will. I don't even hate her for saying it to her daughter. I hate her for saying it to my wife. If that makes sense.

Trust me, you don't want any of that crazy.
Does she stay with you guys when she comes to visit?

My dad and my sister had a falling out a while back but my sister would still visit the house to see mom. She'd even stay there for a few days instead of getting a hotel. Her and my dad would just walk around the house giving each other the silent treatment for the 3 or 4 days she stayed there.

I think I'd prefer to stay away than deal with that type of tension.

Do you passive aggressively send her "you're not welcome here" signals, like "accidentally" fixing 3 steaks for dinner instead of a 4th for her?

That would be one of my go to moves. :lol
I haven't done that, but I did once place a reservation for one less than was needed. My wife pinched the living shit out of me and made me call them back. :lol

My wife has surgery tomorrow to remove a lump on one of her breasts. The mass is benign but because of the size of it they want to remove it and do a more thorough biopsy of it. She is very nervous about this one. She has had two surgeries before, but I think she is more nervous for this one because of the intimacy of this kind of surgery. I think it feels like more of an invasion than gall bladder surgery. Thoughts and prayers would be greatly appreciated. We check in at the place at 8:30 tomorrow morning.

She's in our prayers, Cotton. 🙏 I have faith it's going to be alright.

Praying for your wife, brother.

Thoughts for your family.

Sitting in the waiting room and there is a fucking Longhorn fan sitting here. Motherfucker!

This guy said he had rather watch softball than baseball. He also said he likes watching the WNBA. Fucking fag. Me and the girl may have to go somewhere else to wait. Good lord.

She is finally in surgery. This is the part that always makes me nervous. Not the cutting. The anesthesia. I always have a fear she won’t wake up. I know it’s irrational but I can’t help it.

Had a lady here tell me I don’t look old enough to be 52. I like her.
