Anyone have any experience building furniture, specifically, I would like to build like, speaker stands, or maybe a table/mantle for placing speakers on? I just got a 7.1 surround sound system and I want to put the speakers behind my couch, but my couch does not back up to a wall, so I want something to put behind it to set them on. Either individual stands, or maybe one big table to set a couple of them on.

Any online resources would be nice. Like a DIY guide.

Do you own a Ryobi set?

If not, i feel badfor youson.

I got 99 problems but lacking an 18 volt tool set ain't one.

This is a first for me...school is cancelled tomorrow because of cold. It even says "Dangerous Cold" alert on the TV.

I build everything I buy from Ikea.

If there is a hint of ice in SA they shut the muther down.

With good reason. People down here have no clue how to handle wintry conditions (myself included). I was in the DFW area when it froze one year, and half of the evening news was people sliding around corners or slamming the brakes on the highway and smacking into each other, and they get a lot more winter than CenTex and Houston.

Definitely makes your world smaller...don't really want to go out in this shit.

The DCC is definitely missing one of these

Our wind chill in OK is supposed to be -20 tonight

-36 right now. My daughter got warm last night and turned off the heat instead of turning it down...it was 40 degees in the house.
