I love Windows 8. The feature I like the most is you can hit the Windows key and just start typing what you're wanting to find. Say you are wanting to bring up the calculator. Just start typing calculator and by the letter l it will be right there on the right. I have already pre-ordered my copy of Windows 10 because from what I understand it's similar to 8.

You can do that in Windows 7 too

Yeah, 7 was the first OS that offered the metro app screen. And you would have thought Windows had killed people's pets.

I bought a Surface Pro last night.

Windows 8.1 is a horrible creation. I have no idea how to run this POS.

I can't dig a tablet being my primary. For $1k budget, 11-inch MacBook air would be my choice.

this is coming from a lifelong PC guy who's first Mac experienxe was 1 year ago from a work-assigned laptop.

Yea, I'm a bit old fashioned in that regard.

I prefer a laptop over a tablet every time.
