Supporting Lamb and Parsons

Even the drama queens on ESPN have caught on to why Jerry does things that are so fucking football stupid......it keeps a team that isn't competitive for championships in the news cycle constantly. It is all that matters. Winning is secondary now as we've all stated here for a while.

Let's put whether missing training camp affects the player aside for a second.

What advantage does he think he's getting by dragging things out until the last possible second? It didn't get Dak cheaper and it didn't get Lamb cheaper and for that matter it didn't get Martin or Zeke cheaper either. And it won't get Parsons cheaper either.

So maybe he doesn't believe that missing camp hurts guys, but the late timing doesn't help anything so just in case missing training camp hurts the player why not just get the deals done in a reasonable time frame?

Because waiting makes these morons feel like master negotiators (probably).
 
And here's the other thing.

He might "believe" this sort of thing, but after 30 years of futility shouldn't you start to question your beliefs?
 
Because to him missing training camp not only doesn't hurt, it's better because the player can't get injured. :dunce

Plus this year I think it was another excuse not to spend money in FA.

Most reasonable people would. I'm sure he judges himself by his profit margins though.
