Sturm: Garrett Overview - 6 Years of Data

Or just a guy with the right (trenches first) approach to offense and an eye for linemen. Doesn't have to be an all timer or even the HC, but the top offensive guy needs to stand on the table for guards and tackles, not just "weapons" for his passing game.

We won't ever get over the hump without a franchise builder. The GM isn't capable of keeping the holes plugged.

Unless we luck into another pro bowl QB we won't get over the hump anyway. Romo is too old to rebuild around.

Sad thing is, if Parcells had picked offensive linemen as well as he picked other positions, we might have had a deep playoff run when the rest of the team was good enough.

Well, that's why we need a franchise builder HC... to get us that next QB.

That's one thing that's pretty luck of the draw, lots of great franchise builder type coaches and good front offices have failed to get a franchise QB. Having a 3-13 season at the right time seems to be the surest way.

This thread started to trend epic, and then Clay decided to start arguing with Smitty again.

That guy's an asshole.

Fucking cracker.

That's the difference between ending up with Andrew Luck or David Carr. The difference between Tim Couch and Payton Manning. The Colt's aren't some brilliant front office. They just lucked out to have their one horrible season the year Luck was coming out and the year Manning came out. Two of the best QB prospects I have seen in a long time.

I think the preferred term is sodomy enthusiast.

My apologies. I did not mean to offend.

I should have kept in mind how sensitive he is.

Well, you can always avoid reaching for David Carr. Everyone knew Julius Peppers was the better player and the Texans just forced the pick.

Later on they did the right thing in that situation taking Mario Williams. They learned their lesson at least.

What a horrible game, and not just because we lost. Carr went like 10/22 and Q went 13/30(!). I forget who got roasted by Corey Freaking Bradford of all people

"We've got to win that game." - Darren Woodson

Honestly, he was prophetic. I think that game signified my complete downward spiral into the miserable fan I am now.

I as on my way from Ft. Gordon, GA to Ft. Hood, TX during that game. Even though I had a car full of wife and kids and pulling a U-Haul, I pulled over and got a hotel room to watch that game.

Not one of my better decisions.

Bryant Westbrook.

Cross-thread arguing is gay.

Just FYI.

Actually I meant it as a joke but since you're offended, not as gay as being a fucking hypocrite.
