If the Russians try to use nukes, they are signing their own death warrants. Any strike they choose can be answered quickly.
Of course, but what if he's crazy enough to take the world out with him? One of their big TV pundits was apparently arguing that a world without Russia wasn't worth having anyway, something Putin has said in recent years.
 
Apparently what he said is true. From that far-right organization known as ABC news:


It is really off-putting how he makes everything about himself but hopefully this thread doesn't turn into another one all about him.

Indeed. It is off-putting at this moment right now. Show support for Ukraine, condemn Putin and STFU about everything else.
 
Hopefully everyone on both sides of the aisle now agrees that NATO is, and at least as far as our lifetimes go, always will be one of the bedrocks of our society and geopolitical order.

Negotiating who pays what and so forth is fine, but it's importance should never be questioned or dismissed.
