I've wondered the same thing. He knows he's a marked man and he has the money to go practically anywhere in the world to hide out.

He should have completely gone off the grid for a while and never stepped foot back in Russia while Putin's still breathing.

Part of me thinks it's an elaborate hoax so that he can go into hiding.

A friend of mine who has a Ukranian wife just texted me the same. I texted him and said hey, he's dead, I never saw this one coming! He responded "If he was even on the plane."
