I'm making generalizations about a general state of affairs in many years Garrett has coached Romo. Romo's had his part in not playing smart football, and Garrett and Wilson have never asked him to play smart football. We've been reading articles lately that say that Linehan has been the first guy to get after Romo in practice and tell him when he's fucking up in years, probably since Parcells retired. That's not a winning environment for a QB that Parcells said would need to be managed.

Romo had been making a lot of his mistakes because Garrett has been too interested in being his BFF and not interested enough in winning football games.

Yes, you are. And like all generalizations, they do not always tell the truth.

Ace made a statement about Romo.... not everything comes back to your favorite target.

Romo and Garrett are inextricably linked. You can't have an opinion about a QB's decision making without having an opinion about his coaching.

No, they are not. Romo is a separate human being and has made plenty of his own boneheaded decisions without anyone ordering him to do so, which is what you original implied.

The coaching he's received along the way is a separate issue and not what was being talked about, you went there because you're obsessed.
