Football retards say the same thing when Romo melts down and chokes and throws a ton of ill timed INTs. It's never his fault. It's always the fault of someone else, even if that person (or people) isn't even on the field at the same time as he is.

So what is the appropriate attitude when you score 42 and the defense gives up 49?

Geno Smith could die tomorrow and I wouldn't blink an eye, I just think the piling on is pretty stupid.

Because I never pile on anyone, I respect athletes too much.

Try watching the Texas Tech, Kansas St., and Syracuse games where the offense was nonexistent.

We can sit around and just be as punny as we want all day long without fear of any type of persecution.
 
I told everyone that WVU was WAY overrated when last season started. The bowl game that they played the year before is what caused them to shoot up in the rankings the year before. Go back and look at their wins and losses and tell me if you are impressed. Obviously playing in the Big 12 was going to be more of a challenge than that.

The mental breakdown that Geno Smith had at TTU was pretty funny.

He was still the second QB taken and did not really drop.
 
I think he has some pretty good skills. He was taken probably right where he should have been. A top 20 pick would have been too high.
 
In other classes he probably lasts quite a bit longer for sure. NY is probably not the best fit for him, but I could also see him doing well for a strong willed coach like Ryan.
