Just wanted to let everyone know that I will be going into alcohol detox and rehab sometime next week so I may not be not be on as mush as I normally am. It will take between 30-40 days, so didn't want you guys thinking I had keeled over. Your thoughts and prayers would be appreciated. This is going to be a long road.

I have already been through this once. The first time was because of drugs a long time ago. I didn't go to rehab for that, but my understanding is if you try to detox from alcohol on your own it can kill you, so I decided to get professional help.

No idea. My best friend was a raging alcoholic and luckily we stepped in, got him into AA and he quit cold turkey about 3 months into AA. He’s been sober for 18 years now and has helped save more than 15 people from alcoholism.
I’m just glad you are getting help brother.

Alcohol and Benzo detox must be medically supervised. They are the only ones you can die from.
