I dunno when it went from only the disturbed, wounded or sailors had them.
 
Once they control the state, they aren't letting go. They'll use every lever of power they have to maintain control.

Because apparently every politician can sign up for it? At least that was what I read. They claim it's a way to give "power to the people" and prevent big private donors from taking over elections. I guess there are caps and "oversight" (Yeah right) if you sort of agree to the program. But in reality it's just a way to stay in office by literally authorizing tax dollars to fund your campaign.

That's fucking ridiculous. Par for the course with them, I guess, but ridiculous, nonetheless.
 


It will be basically impossible to pass, unfortunately. They aren't going to vote themselves out of office.
