Random Politics Stuff Thread...

I knew this would get this reaction. But I still hold out hope that there are good people in this world that can't stand to lie and hide things. I just don't think that's the Zuck either.

Don't get me wrong, I would love for it to be true.

The left hate small businesses - always have - so it's a double benefit for them: put small entrepreneurs out of business and concentrate more power in the big businesses (which they can control), plus sell bad policy that sounds good to uneducated voters.

The real irony is that the elite, the true big businesses, are in bed with the left. The left and big business want to kill the middle class so they have more power and more money for themselves.

Pick one:

1. Zuckerberg penned that letter yesterday to the judiciary committee because he thinks it’s so late in the game that the dems are going to win the White House and majorities in the house and senate and they won’t go after him.

2. Zuckerberg came clean to get ahead of information the judiciary committee was going to find because he fears that republicans will take all 3 branches and he doesn’t want to be left holding his dick in his hand.

I saw a clip earlier from Charlie Kirk asking this question. It crossed my mind yesterday as I read the letter.

This letter makes no sense and it’s only damaging to the Biden administration. It’s at least on par if not more damaging than Anthony Weiner’s laptop fiasco in 2016.

It’s number two because it’s too early to bank that kind of risk on Kamala winning. He must not fear the left cause he’s part of them and is trying to save face if the right wins.

I know you will all dismiss this off the jump. Todays world has made us all jaded. We have to assume there is some motive for self benefit behind every action. But is it possible that Zuck has a conscience and it was weighing on him? Maybe he felt like he needed to get the truth off his chest because it would make him feel better?

I wouldn’t put money on it, but it is interesting the growing number of essentially centrist Democrats turning Republican or more to the right:

Elon
RFK
Tulsi Gabbard
Zuckerberg?

There definitely is a line that the new Democratic party appears to be crossing that is shoving Democrats over the line to the other side.

I will dur those.

Especially the first one. Is the claim just that, what, JD Vance is fat?

I don't have a problem with the Arlington visit, so long as he doesn't use it in ads or for fundraising purposes.

People should have a bigger problem with Biden forgetting that they actually died.

Or that they died in the first place. But people are outraged because those families have made it clear that Biden isn’t welcome and is also responsible.

As for the optics and legality, look, Trump has a team of advisors and lawyers attached to his team who should have warned him this was something that would trigger outrage.

Maybe they did. Maybe he’s too bullheaded to listen to reason. Either way, it’s done and he’ll either suffer the consequences or he won’t.

Yeah, in fact I think the families of the fallen soldiers want the attention brought to what happened to them.

I agree that it's not a place to be creating political ads like you're shooting a commercial but I don't think there is anything wrong with visiting and having photography done. Again, it was a tragic situation that potentially could have been avoided that cost those soldiers their lives. Reminding the world of what happened to them is more of a honor to them than anything. Prevents them from just being forgotten.

But to be clear, that's different than crafting that into some political ad to try to garner votes. I am against that.

Oh he's already done that, I saw the captioned video earlier today, complete with him giving the thumbs up at the end while standing over a grave with one of the families.

That said, even more infuriating is the fact that Biden nor Harris could take time to pay their respects, as it did happen under their watch.

Yeah I watched that video? Is that the campaign ad? That's not really what I was thinking of. But I haven't gone looking any further than what posted on here.

Do I think Trump is distasteful at times? Absolutely

But I guess I'll take the guy out there honoring and remembering those who were lost over the alternative.
