Charges dismissed with prejudice.
Excuse my ignorance, but can you explain the difference? No…. Acquitted.

Gotcha. That’s kinda what I thought but wanted to be sure.Charges dismissed means the Judge throws it out. The Jury doesn’t decide, the judge does. He can do that, for example, if the defendant’s rights have been prejudiced to the point where he cannot get a fair trial.
In this case the jury decided not guilty. Which is how it normally goes.
reminder: this is the same network that tried to dox the jury
Right. I misheard the judge.No…. Acquitted.
Right. I misheard the judge.
I'm no expert on this stuff.
God, the idiots on facebook drive me nuts. Sometimes it takes every ounce of my energy to not respond to this stuff. As an attorney I don't want to get wrapped into explaining law to folks but I saw someone spouting off that he was illegally carrying a weapon as a 17 year old in Wisconsin. That isn't true as their law makes exceptions for 16 and 17 year olds with riffles. But no, I'm not going to explain this shit on there. All it will do is have someone attacking me and my name but Jesus I hate facebook right now.
Automation is coming big time.A company called Miso Robotics just invented a robotic burger flipper and fry basket swapper, which is being debuted at White Castles in a pilot program.
