I think you're underrating Hall quite a bit, he's pretty solidly in the top 50 prospects in the class in my opinion, I'm not sure there are many CB's or TE's who could be around at that point who you could say that about.

Someone like Kraft at TE, Downs at WR or Forbes at CB could be there but to say there are any number of guys who we should take instead at those positions is overexaggerating.

No chance I'm taking someone like LaPorta or DJ Turner over him.

Taking a top 50 prospect at 58 who doesn't fit a need at all for us just doesn't do it for me. If I'm taking a player at a position of tremendous depth in the draft at 58 you better be talking about someone who I could have seen going in the first round. I don't view Hall that way. But yeah, I haven't watched him a ton. I just have faith I can find similar value at a better position. Or at least a DE with some size who can give me more of a DE+ inside pass rusher. Not an undersized wide 9 type DE.

YaYa Diaby ran a 4.51 and had 9 sacks this last year. He is also bigger. His name is kind of lame but I can give you a long list of productive pass rushers in this draft who are athletic.

I agree that people get to up or down about about forties. I think you need to sort of meet minimum requirements but beyond that it's overrated. I mean I don't want a 4.6 forty corner. But you don't need to run a 4.3 forty if you have quicks, instincts and the hips to track a dude. 4.53 is ok if everything looks great on tape.

If you don’t follow Mathbomb, do it.

The math is pure. The beauty about it is that it is pretty definite in a lot of cases.

Funny looking at the Cowboys roster. Almost every bad RAS on our roster wasn't a draft pick. Like the only two bad ones on our roster that we drafted were Wright and Bohanna. I'll take a pass with a NT. And Wright one of our biggest reaches in recent memory.
