Yes, I understand we think we have Kearse to do that. But he can't because we fuck around with the interior DL.

I mean if you take Muma in the second at least you can feel good that you're not going to draft a bust. I think it's a safe easy pick on a guy that will be good in the NFL. But LBers should be easy like that. Yet we have made it look difficult with Jaylon and LVE.
 
We’re not going LBer until the 5th. 4th at the earliest.

First three are already earmarked for WR, OL, and DE. In no particular order.

Right, I just want a solid guy who can move. Don't care if he's "undersized" or not a huge hitter, just make him smart and competent. A Hitchens or Damien Wilson would be fine.

Eh, I don't know. I can certainly see us taking one, no doubt. But I think that'll be 5th or 6th. Or that 7th we're bound to end up with after a trade down or two in the 4th/5th.

I think the team just sees the others as bigger needs. OL is a no doubter. And don't underestimate the flashy sell of a new WR and DE. Jersey sales... TE isn't flashy enough to bump them. Not anybody in this years crop, anyway.

Yeah I always try to read the tea leaves and we are looking at a lot of TEs. Outside of Sam Williams, I'm not sure I've seen anything that makes me think we are looking hard at DEs. Obviously the 30 visits are basically OG, WR, TE and Leal so far. We will see how they continue to look but Leal is a DT unless they sort of view him as a DE.

An ideal draft probably goes OG, WR, DE and then TE. I just don't think there are any TEs worth a pick before the third in this draft to me and most will probably be there in the fourth. But the Cowboys may disagree. And I'm not saying a TE won't go in the second round but I wouldn't.
 
I can totally see them planning to draft a TE. Would fit perfectly with Steve's financial plans -- tag Schultz for one year, then replace him with the cheap draft pick.

Yeah I have no idea what round we are drafting a TE in but I'm convinced we will take one. Woods would be right up our alley but so would a number of other TEs we have looked at closely. Cade Otton is also supposedly coming in for a 30 visit. I've also seen Wydermeyer listed as a visit. What rounds those guys will go in I have no idea. But we are taking a TE. I hope it's the fourth/fifth round.

His sources also indicated that Dallas is planning something really big at the end of April...something that should yield several new young players to the team. Like and subscribe for further details.
