163 countries in NATO and we pay something like 26% of NATO's budget. Yeah, that math isn't mathing.

You're supposed to spend a percentage of your GDP on defense.

Did you think Finland is supposed to contribute the same as the US?

Sorry, I got NATO numbers confused with the UN, which we should also leave. But, countries like Germany, Canada and the UK should be paying way more than they do. We have carried NATO for too long. We need to get out and let those countries defend themselves, as they are now stating publicly they don't need us. We should wipe our hands and walk off.

Yeah its supposed to be 2% of GDP on defense spending. Obviously US would be one of the biggest spenders. But up until recently very few were meeting that 2% benchmark. Which is easy to do when you know the US will crush everyone for you.
