President Trump Thread (Part 2)

What does Trump call anyone who does not support him or who has seen him for what he really is, a grifting huckster carnival barker? His standard refrain is to say they're 1)Weak & ineffective, and 2)hate the country. That's more than half the people, and I'm not good at math.

Why would someone come here if they hate it here? And does protesting the way they see things mean they hate it? Or does it mean they want to see change?

And I would say that anyone who labels someone who refuses to vote for Trump as having TDS is in fact, a blind cult follower.

Is this a real question? There are a multitude of nefarious reasons why people would come to the U.S.

They want to move here to change it. I mean, my god, they openly admit it. And we (Dems) allowed it to happen. They don't love America. They love the thought of ruining America.
That number is negligible. Not zero, but negligible.

The problem is that anyone not a Trump supporter gets thrown in with them, and you are all too willing to follow right along.

Tell that to the people who died in 9/11.

I mean negligible in numbers, my friend.

As bad as trump is, I don’t think he intentionally does shit to hurt this country. I do think he listens to horrible advisors but doesn’t have the mental capacity to think for himself unless it comes to making money off his name.

So the half of the people who voted in this country, and those who could not bring themselves to vote for either idiot hate this country?

Goddam, Cotton you have TDS too.

If you would just say you couldn't bring yourself to vote for him I would respect that.

I don't respect any of the lies or other nonsense you're always blathering about, as if to convince yourself you made the right decision.

Not all, but many.

No, absolutely not.

I won't say "most," Democrats hate America, many are just stupid, but it's absolutely a massive amount, even the ones who have been duped because they are too stupid, who hate the majority of the ideals that America was founded on and raised on. Even as they go about paying lip service to it (for example, they will say they are for "No Kings," and then protest Trump as the King because he won't institute MORE government control).

The entire elementary and university college system, the entire media, the entire Union system, the entire federal bureaucracy, and of course the open and outright card carrying Communists and Socialists are openly hostile to, and outright lie about, most of what made American great through the 1990s (as an example, John F. Kennedy would be a right wing extremist today based on his views). They are trying to crack the military and are making alarming progress there as well.

And the crazy thing is that I'm receptive to the argument that you shouldn't vote for the lesser of two evils because evil is always still evil. But Trump isn't a lesser of two evils, he is a clear, unarguable net positive towards the things you claim to value - if you're being honest with us that you value those things (which I'm not convinced of).

I mean negligible in numbers, my friend.

It's not negligible under any standard. Negligible means too small to be worth considering, or inconsequential.

No.

There are entire industries that are outright devoted to destroying traditional American ideals.

We are talking millions of people. Probably tens of millions, sadly.

People who are citizens here but hate the Constitution as it's written, hate some of the freedoms afforded to us (Freedom of Religion is a huge one they want to kill, Freedom of Speech is another - look at England). Then there are the anti-capitalists, the ones who truly want to abolish private property and private ownership. Then there are the race revenge crew who want legal discrimination against whites to try to settle the score for slavery. There are vast swaths who hate American expansion and are in favor of unchecked immigration so they can flood the southwest and recoup that region for brown people to take it away from "American Imperialism." I could go on and on. Vast, vast segments of society are anti-American.

I got the Picard instead of a response because he knows it's true.

It's definitely not a "negligible" amount of citizens in this country who hate American ideals.

Negligible. At best. You want to make it sound like we are at war.

Really the biggest problem is that too many of us (myself included sometimes) have a hard time tolerating other’s ideals and make it out to be something much worse than what it actually is so they can anoint themselves as some sort of warrior for the good of the world.

I didn't say we are at war or even imply it.

I said, and it's true on it's face, it's true through SELF ADMISSION, that millions of people want to destroy basic tenants of America that have existed and contributed to our rise to be the greatest country on earth.

It's not negligible.

Millions of uneducated, naive, or evil Americans think this way about one or many basic tenants of Americanism these days. Such as, freedom of religion, freedom of speech, capitalism, expansion of our sphere of influence, equal treatment of races, protection of the interest of American citizens over foreigners, etc. Again, the entire media, university system, social media/the tech industry, unions, race baiting institutions, etc, OPENLY PROCLAIM this.

It's not negligible. If you think it is then you don't know what that word means.

Really the biggest problem is that too many of us (myself included sometimes) have a hard time tolerating other’s ideals and make it out to be something much worse than what it actually is so they can anoint themselves as some sort of warrior for the good of the world.

I agree that you - and most liberals - have that very problem. You should be more like me.

Speaking of war. I know it's zero Trump strategy but I have to say the way our military has planned and executed things under Trump has been pretty impressive. Get in, get out, attempt to accomplish a goal and don't fuck around with some long engaged battle.

Best President at this since... I dunno when? Reagan at least. And Reagan had Iran Contra and some other flubs.

Another unarguable fact by literally any metric (bombs dropped, dollars spent, lives ended, etc) that the Reagan Republican will lie about or pretend isn't true or more likely hide from by just responding with Picard emojis.

We’re pretty close to war. Bipo and Irv are the only liberals I’d let use my phone if they needed to call Trump for help.
You lie, you haven't even got your Trump Phone yet.

You can use my Obama phone in the meantime.
