And honestly... do you really think that CBS would have agreed to settle this if they weren't trying to complete this merger that a Trump lackey was all to willing to shut down?

Same thing with the law firms that caved because they were in danger of not being allowed into federal buildings, the stripping of their clearances, etc?

And yes I believe they would have settled it. They needed to. The facts aren't really disputed.

Probably because there wasn't a 20 mil dollar settlement that you brought up your outrage over? Hell if it wasn't brought up I wouldn't have discussed it either.

I think its good to have some repercussions for the media fabricating things and presenting them as fact. It's not a defense because another media outlet did it and got away with it. No different then getting a speeding ticket and trying to claim as a defense that you saw another car do it.
 
Trump's been on a roll the last few weeks. The Big Beautiful Bill, flaws and all, is done. The borders are closed. Inflation is down. Gas prices are down. Jobs are up. CBS is paying him millions for their election interference. Ceasefire in Iran. Pending ceasefire in Gaza. All in stark contrast to Sleepy Joe. Leadership matters.

The Big Beautiful Bill isn't exactly a positive in my book. It has some positive qualities for sure. But it's still full of shit I hate. But I guess any more the standard is just getting anything passed is a positive.

The Tea Party is long dead. Every Republican feels obligated to bring as much taxpayer $ back to their state/district whether it's justifiable or not.

Yep, it's always going to be a spending problem. Because everyone bitches when anything get's cut. Because a cut means someone out there is going to lose money. Even if it's a scam artist, rich person, or non US citizen. Someone is losing money and that's somehow always a problem. I'm 100% for less spending and less taxes. But it still needs to come close to balancing in the process.
