President Trump Thread (Part 2)

This is why I wanted Vivek as President so obviously I'll take it. I'm sure this will be sold as Trump is going to fire people, jobs will be lost, people hurt.

But government shouldn't be a job creator. They don't create shit. They are the peak of inefficiency. Every economist knows it. But I bet you won't hear Goldman Sachs weigh in on how the government creates inefficiency in an economy. Even though they have run a million economic models that tell them exactly that.

This to me is the path to long term success that could actually create a real legacy for Trump.

Elon has said that they are willing to give long severance pay, like maybe a year or two. That they aren't trying to hurt anyone. I think that's the right approach. Because long term these jobs will be off the books, and they will have plenty of time to find another job.

I hope this isn't only about payroll and departments though. There's a lot of government waste to deal with.

I'd forgotten that our 250 anniversary was coming up during the next administration.

Had Kamala won, we would have had a year long state of mourning in remembrance of America's imperialism and racism and stealing of native lands.

Don't forget the drag queens and twerking on stage by some raunchy female rapper and God knows what else.

It's not just about downsizing. But when you cut spending or departments ultimately layoffs will happen.
