The same people who scream "What about Chicago" when blacks protest a shooting, never seem to show the same outrage when American citizens are committing violent crimes.

Just some hypocrisy I've noticed.

I've never said anything race related when it comes to shootings. The only thing I've ever said about Chicago was they have some of the strictest gun laws in the nation and it has done exactly what for them?

And aren't people in Chicago also American citizens? I'm confused by your distinction.

The point is whenever a controversial shooting occurs that riles up the black community, one of the first things that people say is "what about Chicago". Basically saying why aren't blacks outraged by the black on black crime in Chicago. It's not necessarily said here on DCC, but in society it is.

My point is the same can be said when it comes to crimes committed by illegals. Why do the same people who are completely outraged anytime an illegal alien commits a crime, remain completely silent when a U.S. citizens commits the same crime...and probably at a higher rate?

There was a mass shooting that killed 4 people in Arkansas on Friday and it probably wasn't mentioned on this site and if it was it was glossed over.

Of course every crime is a shame and often a tragedy for the victim, but the illegals shouldn't even be here. If the laws were followed and enforced, they wouldn't be. And if they weren't here, those crimes wouldn't have happened here. To a lot of these people, what they're doing is kind of the norm in the third world countries where they're from. Same thing happened in Sweden years ago and their violent crime skyrocketed.

My question is why is anyone for this mass unvetted immigration? Other than the politicians who want votes and some companies who want cheap labor, that is. Other than those parties it doesn't do anyone any good. Which is why the polls show roughly 2/3 of Americans are against it.

I agree with this. Especially the part about companies wanting cheap labor.

Prison labor and illegal immigrants are probably the bread and butter for some of the biggest corporations in America.
