I mean, yeah, it was off his back foot, and Dez made a nice adjustment.

But that placement?

Yeah, but he dropped it right in, and a QB has got to trust his receivers to make that adjustment, and for him to do it shows great NFL maturity, which is amazing.

All I heard about Prescott leading up to & after the draft is that he had the tools and the intangibles to potentially be a good NFL QB but that he was a project that was going to need some time. That may well be the case but I'll be damned damned if he doesn't already look like a composed QB that belongs in the NFL. Very small sample size and only the preseason but it is hard not be be encouraged about what he is capable of going forward.
