After the last 20 years, if Jerry wanted a HC with any kind of power or authority then he'd never have hired Switzer, Gailey, Campo, Phillips or Garrett.

Other than Parcells when Jerry got desperate following the three 5-11 seasons and wanted support for the new stadium, Jerry has been more than fine with hiring his bottom of the barrel HC's. And once 3-4 years go by and the outcry becomes too loud and then most will be content with any change for another 3-4 years until the cycle repeats itself.

So yeah, good luck with getting Gruden, Cowher or any other competent NFL caliber HC.

We controlled the ball in the first half. Hence keeping them off the field. We did not do that in the second. Hence giving them the ball back too often.

Durant and Sims were playing well...once they were out the Pack attacked the middle of the field in the run and pass game. They did some other things of course, but with them out we had to rely on Heath to cover more because Church and Wilcox can't.

Garrett mismanages games on a regular basis but this is one of his absolute worst. Helen Keller can see it at this point.

This whole season has been a huge coaching failure. Third year running.

It's not about letting the defense off the hook, it's about understanding that the defense was on the field far too long as a result of our offensive staff completely abandoning the run.

That is why Garrett is the main culprit for this loss. There's no way to argue that unless you just want to be defiant.

What percentage coaches fault vs defenses fault?

You like to argue that it's not 100% vs 0%, but you don't offer an opinion otherwise.

Hell, I could even argue that the lack of crowd noise can't be "let off the hook either", even if it was just 00.001%.
