Though, fair question, I wonder if Garrett would have the authority to sit Romo.

He can bench Murray for a series here or there, but Romo would be a different story.

And... on top of that... Garrett is probably too close with Romo to do it anyway.

Yep. He shouldn't be given the option and if he changes it on his own he needs to be made accountable. But since Garrett is also pass happy he probably doesn't care if Romo changes a play to a pass play. And on top of it neither does Jerry who is actually the one making the decisions. Garrett has no authority to call out Romo even if he wanted to.
 
Don't think I've ever seen a football player run out in sweats in their player intros, like Roethlisberger just did.

If that's true, it's still Garrett's fault. He can't keep chest bumping players in the hopes that brings respect. He is the damn HC. He has to manage the team, not be friends with them.

True. You see a lot of younger coaches do that these days, such as Tomlin in Pittsburgh.
 
Garrett was a below-average QB and a below-average OC. No surprise that he's a below-average HC.
