I think if Romo finishes us 2-0 and we go into the playoffs on a run, he deserves the MVP.

I suppose one could argue Murray instead of him, but the position wins out.

I don't GAS either but I would say Murray over Romo although I agree that a QB will generally trump a RB in an MVP discussion. I don't think we're in the position we are without Murray grinding away, keeping the ragtag, inconsistent defense off the field.

Both Romo and Murray belong in the discussion, although I'm sure Brady or Manning will get it.

But as [MENTION=21]Iamtdg[/MENTION] mentioned, Romo deserves very serious consideration if we finish 12-4 and he goes for 500 yards and 5 TD's with no picks over the next 2 weeks. His overall stats may not be as gaudy as Manning's and Brady's, but he's also not on teams nowhere near as well-rounded as those nor does he have coaching as good as they do, but he's every bit as important to this team as those QB's are to theirs.

I think he probably does, too. But, if Romo wins out and gets us in the playoffs, I think he deserves serious consideration.

Still, Romo belongs in the discussion if he finished strong and goes 4-0 in December, especially with that ridiculous TD to Int ration he has on the road.

I think an 1,800 yard season with 13 or so TD's practically locks up the OMVP, but it's gonna be tough to win the outright MVP.

He probably deserves to be in the conversation, but the sad reality is, he will not even be considered.

Just doesn't throw the ball enough to put up the raw numbers for that honor. With that being said he is as valuable to this team as any QB is to their team. Without Romo we are picking near the top of the draft.

Can't disagree with that but on the other hand the reason this team is further than they have been in several years is because of the difference made by the running game. I am as big a Romo fan as anyone but I wonder how long Romo would have lasted this season with the prior years play mix going to the passing game. It ( the running game) has allowed him to be much much more effective and upright. The running game is the most valuable this season.

We've seen what happens without a healthy Romo. Some of the plays he's made have been ridiculous. 18 TDs to 1 Int on the road is flat out getting it done, too.

Basically all three nuevo Triplets probably deserve such a big chunk of the credit that no single Cowboy can win NFL MVP, alot like with the old triplets.

And that's the way it should be to tell the truth.

The Triplets comparison is justified this year. Ben Roethlisberger, Antonio Brown, and Le'Veon Bell have been better overall thanks to Romo's back and Ben's stronger arm. I think they will take the Steelers deep into the playoffs.
