Yeah, more in the vein of the Ocean's movies, Now You See Me, or Lucky Logan. Good movie but not extremely memorable.

One of our favorite movies is Passengers with Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence. Got pissed because they showed Pratts ass but not Lawrence. The wife didnt really like the fact that I got pissed about that.

Nothing movie-wise the Rock does is memorable. Made a shit ton of money, more power to him, but he’s the Frank Gore of action movie stars.

That makes sense to me.
"Action-adventure with light-hearted moments" captures it.

Maybe Predator, although I wouldn’t call it an adventure movie.

I finally sat down and watched Shang-Chi.

I'd rate it as a middle of the pack Marvel movie. Nothing special, IMO.

I'm not familiar with the comics so that may have skewed my opinion. It was the same thing with GOTG for me. I wasn't familiar with the characters until the movie came out and they eventually grew on me as the MCU storyline progressed.
 
I recommend the Many Saints of Newark, especially if you’re a Sopranos fan.
 


One of the greatest movies of all time.
