the inevitability of aging isn't suspended just because it's a comedy. in any event, I'm sure they'll come up with a cute/implausible explanation.

One thing I didn't know until today, the kid sitting in the barber shop chair was played by Cuba Gooding, Jr.
 
Or someone is.
 
The only other actor involved in that barber shop scene was Arsenio Hall.

I assume it would be set right after the first one, which would make that point dumb. Eddie would still play the characters. Or is the sequel set in the future from the original one? I haven't looked into it.

Eddie still would play the old dudes. I'm still confused at the dumb idea they wouldn't still be in the movie.
