Must See Movies

MOS was flatout greatness. It's a damn good start towards the buildup for the Justice League movie. Very basic story of how Superman came about. Well told, well acted, and well directed. I look forward to the other movies to come in this buildup to greatness.

MOS was damn good, but I just think that General Zod was not all that great of a villian. I got tired of his monologues.

I just found Henry Cavill to be a huge bore. And Superman can't possibly make sweet love to a regular woman without turning her vag into hamburger, so why not try and score with a fine Kryptonian like Faora? He's a 33 year old virgin for God's sake, that's almost Smitty territory.

I was fuzzy as to whether Zod met his demise in this movie. It seemed to me he did but his female sidekick may have survived.

Well...see spoilers below:

There was a big controversy initially because Superman is not supposed to kill, but he did snap Zod's neck at the end to save the family he was about to kill. Faora did get away...or was sucked into that black hole.

:lol

I'm watching "Fire with Fire" on Netflix and Nnamdi Asomugha has a role in it as a hood gangster.

Now there's a Black Caucasian for you. He's not very convincing as a thug. He speaks in complete sentences and properly pronounces his words.

The Evil Dead remake was garbage. Those dumbasses on Rotten Tomatoes are idiots.

I refuse to watch it.

I refuse to watch it.

That would be smart. It totally pays zero homage to the original. If you are going to remake a classic, at least fricking tip the hat once.

Does anyone get a pencil to the ankle, at least? That still may be the most wince-inducing moment I've ever seen in a horror movie, right up there with the splinter to the eyeball in Zombi II.

No, but if you want gross stuff, there's plenty other cringe-worthy moments.

I read that Campbell had a cameo at the end of the credits. I didn't see it because I had already ejected the disc in disgust.

Sharknado. Best made for TV B-movie ever.

He was great in House Party, though. :unsure
