Must See Movies

Minions looks terrible. I thought the Despicable Me movies were not great either.

Feh.

I liked the first one, but I agree the second one was not that good.

Of course the kids will be sucked into the nearly eight month long marketing for the movie, so I will be forced to see it.

But all in all, the Minions were the best thing about the Despicable Me franchise to begin with, so if they want to make a stand alone, more power to them.

It is no worse than the other kids crap that you see.

I agree. The first one was solid and that's even after I've been forced to watch it 100 times. I can't remember the second one.

But my kid is already excited about Minions. Im sure it won't be horrible.

If my kids like it, great. If I do, it is a bonus.

I am not going Siskel and Ebert on a kid's movie.

Damn, that looks really good.

Yeah, I'll watch that. Didn't realize Rocky was still alive, thought he died in the last movie (which I didn't watch because I thought he died.)

Wallace and Avon in the same film?! Sign me up.

That seriously looks really, really good

Not sure I am on board with glowing eye Batman. He looks like someone spray painted an Iron Man with matte black spray paint in the middle picture

I saw this little indie gem out of Australia called Mad Max: Fury Road. Best action movie since John Wick.

This movie is starting to look like a big cheesy cluster.

I feel pretty much the same way. Affleck brooding around being angry fearing Superman's impact on humanity and enforcing vengeance just doesn't appeal all that much to me.

I guess this is supposed to be like the Frank Miller Batman. If so, they probably should have developed it better than just having Affleck pop into the role like this.

I have some concerns about Batman v Superman too, Affleck is not one of them, I think he will be great as Batman and look forward to his solo movie with him directing. My concern is that they are going to try to shoehorn too many characters into the movie. I thought Age of Ultron suffered greatly with that, I was underwhelmed with AOU.

Took the family to see Inside Out this weekend, it was pretty good, a couple heart wrenching moments and a couple LOL's.

I have no interest in seeing Antman. Not really familiar with the material. I wasn't familiar with Guardians, but the trailers hooked me...Antman, not so much.

What makes that even cooler is that he actually looks a bit like Carl Weathers when he makes certain facial expressions, especially at the beginning of the clip when he has the mouthpiece.

Definitely will go see this.
