Must See Movies

Watched Easy Rider for the first time last night. Wasn't anything like I expected.

Put me in the camp -- and from what I saw there are plenty of others like me -- that doesn't get it at all. Why was this supposed to be so great and is in the national archives?

Guess it's one of those "had to be there" kind of movies.

Lot of those old movies don’t hold up over time.
 
Since I have been laid up, I have watched a lot of movies the last week or so.

I will tell you this, I saw a couple of stupid ass movies that reminded me of the popcorn days in the 1980s. They were low budget but they held my interest.

I saw one with Matthew Rhys called Hallow Road , since I am a mark, I enjoyed it. Widow's Bay is a good Netflix how to watch too, but again, I am a mark. Same for another flick based on the Faces of Death movies, that was a slasher flick.

I watched other ones I never bothered to (Beetlejuice 2) and new ones (Disclosure).

Trash. Crap.

And the darling Obsession movie? Eh. I don't see the big deal.
 
The New He-Man movie got savaged, but I guess it was more comic book guys.

It was a cute movie.

I used to buy every motherfucking action figure they put out back then for my nephew.

It was just okay for me.
 
He Man was trash. That went too far making the main character the opposite of HeMan. He was one open field away of getting lost to smelling the wildflowers. Just dumb and idiotic. Teela was more HeMan than he was.

Well that is kind of the point.

Bad Boys worked. Nothing was forced. You knew what the fuck the movie was about and there was no recycling of shit and replacements for the sake of diversity.
