Must See Movies

I saw Lego Movie again...my son had not seen it, but I honestly wanted to see it again. Highly suggest.

After seeing Matt McConaughey's greatness in True Detective, I'm going to have to watch Dallas Buyer's Club in which he supposedly gives an all timer performance.

I watched the Pianist tonight. Not for the first time, but it is a good movie.

Now Gangster Squad should be avoided like the plague. It might be the worst movie ever.

He's very good in it. And, it's a great movie.

I hate to say it because I had high expectations and I usually love animated movies, but I really thought the Lego movie was just okay. Would not watch again.

Guardians of the Galaxy looks pretty good...trailer is out, can't post from phone.

I just don't get it. The comic never intrigued me and the characters are all WGAS. Not even sure why they get a movie unless it's just to advance the Thanos character for the next Avengers movie.

I like Chris Pratt and look forward to him being a hero...looks like it does not take itself too seriously.

Yeah, to me it is like promoting Doom Patrol from the DC Comics. Who cares.

At some point you run out of comic heroes to make movies about. Hell, Iron Man really was not a big property until Favreau did it right. I think Gunn will do the same with this one.

Iron Man was always a somewhat big name, I just didn't think his character was cool enough to carry his own franchise. But when you get the right guy to play it anything can happen.

These guys though are all unknown except for their hard core readers and I don't remember any of their stories being interesting.

I don't know shit about their comics...don't need to. I am entertained easily though, so there is that.

I'll give them credit, they did a great job casting. Maybe there's some hope, but not enough for me to not wait for a rental.

Tony Stark is a drunk in the comics. They could have made really interesting movies after the solid first one, but chose the easy blow up shit generic action flick route to go with the series.
