Must See Movies

I watched The Third Man today (starring Orson Welles). Excellent, excellent movie if you like post WWII noir. Now one of my all time favorites.

I also watched North by Northwest as I'm a Hitchcock fan and this is regarded as one of his best.

I liked it but I like some of his others better (like Rope and Rear Window for instance).

But this was good. It had a couple nice twists in there.

Movies I've watched this week:

Strangers on a Train
North by Northwest
The Philadelphia Story
The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (didn't like)
Moneyball
Crimes and Misdemeanors (didn't like)
The Third Man (LOVED)
Hell House LLC (creeped my very out)
Terrifier (good but didn't live up to the hype)

Mulholland Drive (fuck you for that lame plot twist)
Bad Lieutenant (colossal bore watching Keitel shoot heroin and comb his hair for 90 minutes)

Damn, son, you been on vacation this week? (thanks for the recs, btw. We are going to check out The Third Man)

Dead Reckoning was ok, but Bogart's character was a bit too dumb considering how sharp he was otherwise.
