Oppenheimer does play out, but man it also teases out the question of whether or not they even needed to drop the bomb by the time it became operational.

Gary Oldman as Truman was the most underrated performance in a bunch of awesome performances. Cold as fuck... scary.

Oppenheimer: Unlike with The Holders, the rewatch factor for Oppenheimer is pretty low for me. The first 45 minutes of the movie are VERY slow. I almost bailed on the movie but things picked up around that 45 minute mark. I ended up enjoying it, but that could largely be due to me having a fascincation with WWII history. It cleaned up at The Oscars. For me the most compelling scenes of the movie were the politicians scheming to discredit the physicists. Watched on Peacock.

Watching it right now. I hate when movies jump between timelines.

I've never seen a movie at an IMAX. Ultra sharp sound and video quality aren't worth $25 per ticket to me.

As long as I can see and hear the movie clearly, that's good enough for my cheap ass.

I tried to watch 12 Angry Men and made it about 20 minutes in. Old movies are so bland to me. I'm sure they were awesome when they came out but when you watch them now, they suck ass.
