Must See Movies

Lucas is just a crazy ass who really dreamed of making shit that was not technologically available.

When he started doing the CGI Jabba and shit, I was out.

I think he was a visionary. They literally invented a lot of technology just to be able to pull off what he was envisioning. With his influences from old swashbuckler serials, samurai movies and westerns, it was the perfect combination for a space opera.

But on the flip side he couldn't write dialogue for shit. The actors and script writers bailed him out in the originals. Unfortunately by the time they made the prequels he was too big to tell no.

I really wish the franchise had ended with the first 3. It was so perfect, yet they just had to make more money off of it.

Nah. As bad a rap as the 2nd three get, I liked getting to follow the Darth Vader origin story.

I really, really hope they make a Vader series like they have with The Mandalorian, Boba Fett, and Obi Wan.

Episodes 1 and 2 were pretty useless, but Palpatine alone made Ep 3 worthwhile. The part where he kills Mace and gets all disfigured, then puts in Order 66, was great.

Nope had some moments but it gradually disintegrated into a turd.

This is one of those movies they overhyped so bad, showed too much of in the trailers, and I haven’t seen it yet but it feels like they gave away a large point of the movie in the trailers.
I’ll watch it at some point but they ruined any desire for me to see it.

I liked the Christmas special.

But it is on Disney, so...
Yeah, I thought it was pretty good as well. I didn't know the Mantis chick actually had combat skills. That was an eye opener for me.

Bullet Train is fantastic.

Brad Pitt and Aaron Taylor-Johnson managed to pull off that Ryan Reynolds 'quick-wit humor in tense situations' thing quite well.

Is it only at the movie theaters?
