Murray watch thread...

Murray should tweet back to Dez that he should sign his own fucking contract already and free us up some cap space before talking to others about their business.

Did Dez talk about Murray's business? I haven't seen that. All I have seen is Dez replying to that dipshit from the Eagles about him trying to lure Murray over.

I don't think that is affecting anything The Cowboys were prepared to allocate the franchise hit and probably have felt that way for a while.

If there is someone holding the team hostage and creating a roadblock towards getting the process rolling in free agency, it is the bitch who is playing games on his social media account, calling opposing head coaches and the like.

I thought that was directed to Murray, as in, "See what happens if you sign there."

Polian said that his agent priced him way to high to start and scared teams off.

Assuming the stories are true, Murray has been a real bitch in dealing with this.

Dez was frustrated too, but he didn't go deleting Cowboys stuff of social media and he didn't reach out to other teams.

The way he represented the team in this twitter thing today was pretty cool.

It just reaffirms what a team guy Dez is, and I look forward to when we finally lock him up.

His reactions over the last 24 hours coupled with how quiet things were for him on day 1 lead you to believe that this is true.

If so, his agent should have known better. He plays a position that is getting more and more devalued with each passing season, and he has durability issues after the heavy workload he just had.

There's no way he was getting 40-50 million, and I'm guessing that was the initial asking price.

You aren't going to get 1300 yards with that combination of crap. I don't care how good we think our OL is.

Actually I'm pretty comfortable in saying we would. Considering only one NFL team didn't rush for 1300 yards last year, I'm pretty sure this O-line would create that many rushing yards.

That makes a lot of sense. Gets an agent in his ear pumping him full of dreams of $12m a year contract, and then gets his feelings hurt

Absolutely. He is not helping his case. He is going to end up looking like a fagboi in this.

Dez posted one tweet about not feeling like he was appreciated as much as he appreciates the team. He has (especially considering his history) shown great restraint and maturity in all of this.

I hope we back out. I don't want to win a bidding war and overpay.

I hope so, too. Just stick to the 5 mill per, maybe give into 6 mill per, and stop there. Let the 2 other teams battle it out. Which Eagles won't be a part of since they already signed one back to 5 mill per and won't sign another. So, Raiders and Jags will have to battle it out with hopefully the Raiders outbidding everyone.

It wouldn't hurt our comp pick situation if he were to sign a big fat contract with somebody else, either.
