Military Appreciation Thread...

For me it's between October 17, 1777 (British surrender at Saratoga) and July 3 1863 (final day of Gettysburg), but D-Day is up there for sure.
I'm not going to argue with you this morning. The day has started off well and I refuse to allow it to devolve into a semantical argument about consequential to our independence versus consequential to our sustainment.

On that, I'm looking forward to getting Eric Metaxis' new book on the founders and the revolution. Supposedly an engaging, fun read for a history book and dispels a lot of myths about the founders (which he didn't understand himself until he started doing the research).

The least you can do is give the name of it. But, I looked it up and found it no thanks to you. And I will be getting it.

Eric Metaxas's newest book is Revolution: The Birth of the Greatest Nation in the History of the World.

Is it called

Revolution: The Birth of the Greatest Nation in the History of the World

(I copied and pasted the title from Amazon and I don't want to figure out how to fix the font)

I didn't remember the exact title so I thought I'd let you look it up for me. :templetap

I had no idea Trump apparently endorsed the book last night or this morning?

Crap. Now I wish I'd ordered it the other day.

Just ordered it. Should've done it Thursday when I started to, because damn, now I'm probably on a list. :doh
I would be worried about that but I'm already on so many lists I might as well be a bike in the 80s on kids' Christmas wish lists.
