McCarthy Gone - Now the search is on - Schottenheimer Hired

Blame Prescott.

I don't think it's Prescott, if they wanted to accommodate him above all else they'd have kept McCarthy (and Schottenheimer) or hired Moore.

I'm sure part of it is familiarity but the biggest reason they hired him in my opinion is that he's willing to go along with whatever nonsense the organization does (i.e. hiring Witten as the HC in waiting and spending all of FA playing with their assholes).

I know it wasn't a real interview but at least Deion Sanders would've delivered a spark of enthusiasm into the fan base and organization. Not to mention he would've been the first straight shooter they've had at HC since Parcells. This Schottenheimer hire is about as dull as they come.

I'm not saying BS made the wrong decision. It's not his fault. Just find it wierd to get hung up on others calling him a goober.

I'm not being serious. Call him what you want to. Just a bit premature.

A lot of it is about protecting that pussy.

I anxiously await the thread title change.

More exciting than getting the HC itself

1/2 priced concessions by week 5.

I mean, I don't hate him as much as most people but I still can't believe this. I guess I thought maybe they were waiting on Kellen, not that he'd be any better.

Kind of in shock, but it's probably just denial that Stephen really is making calls and he really is this cheap. Does he actually have to see with his own eyes that the logo can't print money forever if the team is bad enough? I guess he does.
