I've listened to at least 4-5 of his PC's over the last two years since he's been OC, he's a fine communicator, speaks confidently, so on and so forth, but so do motivational speakers and news show hosts, it doesn't mean shit.

He may end up being a decent HC because random things happen in the NFL, but none of that changes that the root of all of this is a completely toxic, dysfunctional organizational culture that does not prioritize winning in the least, and the idiocy that just happened over the last 10 or so days is damn near the peak of it.

Witten is of course a foregone conclusion and if I had to guess he's probably going to be damn near the part-time HC. Schottenheimer will be an OC+, I'm sure they'll hire a former HC as the DC, and Witten will probably be the assistant HC/TE coach who splits some of the "walk around" duties with Schottenheimer.

The whole thing is insanity.
 
A few minutes ago, I was in shock, but now the way some of you people are talking to me about this, I am getting legitimately angry.
 
I never heard back from the organization for an interview. They knew they were hiring Brian the whole fucking time.

A guy who held the label of OC and didn’t even call plays just got promoted to head coach because of what exactly?

Was he really good at saying “Yeah!” After Mike McCarthy coordinated the offense?

I hope there’s a press conference and I hope a 747 crashes into the building as soon as Jerry winks.

I hope the plane is empty. Enough people have crashed and burned in that building.

What has a done to deserve it? If you were in his position and a goober like Jerry Jones offered you the opportunity to be the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys.

I'm not saying BS made the wrong decision. It's not his fault. Just find it wierd to get hung up on others calling him a goober.
