Machota: Jerry Jones - Dallas Cowboys need to develop home field advantage

Sorry but I just don't get where you are going with that as to whether the structure is a magnificient piece of work. My initial position deals with that issue alone regardless of what it is or is not used for including the Dallas Coiwboys organization.

The idea behind building a damn football stadium is to help the team win first. Not to facilitate a whore dancing against a poll. Glad you can appreciate that, tho. I prefer my football team to play in a billion dollar stadium built for football.

It's a great building but it's not a great football stadium. It's a concert stadium that is also used for football. It's not designed to allow any kind of "football" atmosphere to develop.

I believe that was exactly my point. It is a multi venue arena. Jones had that in mind from the git go. The fact there is not an exclusive football stadium doesn't detract from the fact that it is a magnificent structure.

Feels like a Vegas casino.

This is the most glorious and at the same time sadest image image I've seen in the history of ever.

Its hard to creat a home field advatage when you aee betting against you own team by marketing tickets to visiting teams. Claasic Jerry, business first, then he'll think about winning.

I'm sure the building is objectively incredible.

I just have a problem giving props to a monument to Jerry's tiny dick and huge ego

I don't believe I was giving Jones any props for his decision for go that direction but since he did it is quite a place in its own right.

It's just another example of how his ego comes first and the team comes second.

M comments are not about Jones. I was addressing a statement someone made that called it a shiny turd. My entire dialogue has been directed to giving the structure it's due. My opinion on who built it and for what reasons is not part of my position on what I think of the stadium. In and of itself it is a very nice arena for many venues. And that is what I think about it. You can take any position oh want about Jones but I never intended to go there.

Lipstick on a pig.

Now I will ask you, ever been there?

I have never been in it. But, I don't have to have been in it to know it's lipstick on a pig. Because I have seen the team play over the last 17 years.

Which is great unless you want to see a football game there. If that's what you want to do, there are better places to go.

Nothing wrong with seeing a football game there. I have no complaints nor have I ever heard anyone else complain. I have not been there but two times because it is now just too far but I enjoyed each time.

I don't have a lot of cash, so if I'm going to slam some down to see a football game in person it will probably be for someplace with some atmosphere for the overall experience. To be fair that probably means I'm going to a college game rather than pro.
