Yeah a medium soda is 15-20 cents depending on the discount they get for bulk.

Yea, I mean there's a reason I don't have much reverence for the old "well they're scouts, what are you?" thing.

It's just watching football and knowing enough to see who's good, it's not rocket science and half of these guys have their heads way up their asses.

Yeah scouting isn't rocket science. Most of these guys are just picking the best players off of teams and ranking them. Scouts aren't really being held accountable for the most part for their opinions. It's a lot of good old boy network for the most part. But I think a real GM could take advantage of that and run laps around many other NFL teams.

I'm actually surprised Belichick hasn't figured it out and done better drafting and scouting.

Yea I think some teams have shown the ability to take advantage of it over a long period (Ravens in particular) but for the most part there's just a bunch of groupthink.
