We are 6-2 with 4 of those wins coming with a backup QB. You can argue all you want about offseason/trade deficits, but we absolutely do deserve to win this division.

Look at the half season records the last few years.

They've been starting off hot.

Finishing strong is their weakness, and Micah's here to change that.

6-2 doesn't mean shit though.

This season may end in disappointment, as we are all used to, but I am ecstatic with 6-2 all things considered.

Shit, I would have been really happy with 6-2 with Dak starting all 8 games.

I'll admit, after the game against the Bucs and Dak's injury I thought we were for sure headed for a top 5 draft pick. I planned to watch that Bengals game casually assuming I'd be turning it off halfway through with the Cowboys getting their ass kicked and nothing worth watching. Instead the team played really well with Rush and Daks injury went from like a 6-8 week best case scenario to missing 5 games and playing like normal again already.

It's been a crazy but really good start to the season. Now we just have to finish. Last year this week was the Broncos week and it seemed like the team was in a funk from there on. Ultimately it was still only 3 (The Broncos loss was game 8) losses in the second half of the season but they had a different feel to them.

I was going to say, this is about the time last year when the Broncos game happened and the team was never the same the rest of the year. Will be interesting to see if the coaches and players-leaders learned anything from last year and can keep it from happening again.

I do think the cupcake division didn't help last year. At least that won't be the case this time.

6-2 is an accomplishment in the sense that we did it without a $40million QB, but it's also familiar territory.

How bout not fading down the stretch? And then it won't matter what the Eagles' record is.

Yeah it went from cupcake division to the best in the NFC. It didn't really change that much in reality though. It's just that all the teams you expect to be awesome took massive steps back this year. 49ers, Rams, Cardinals, Bucs have all just looked mediocre this year. I think the 49ers are pulling out of it and it's why they still scare me even with a shit QB but those teams losing opened up a massive hole for some shitty teams to have much better records.

We were still 6-3 after the Broncos game. This isn't team isn't the same as those old Garrett/Romo collapses in December. But ultimately playoffs are what matter for us now.
