LOL @ The Eagles

It would crush my daughter. She is infatuated with the DCC. They have a show that airs on multiple apps/networks, and she watches them religiously. She know their names. She knows the years they made the team. She has her favorites and she has those she doesn't like. For a boy to make the team would confuse her, to be honest. It's a girls club to her. She wouldn't understand why a boy would be wearing the outfit.

I honestly don’t care. I know where I’ll be looking and more importantly where I won’t be looking. There’s so much homo stuff strewn about programming these days I’m only getting better at tuning it out. The human brain is an amazing thing.

Maybe historically we’ll look back at these last 7-10 years as the entertainment industry’s “woke phase”, or there’s enough of an audience that it actually sticks.

Bottom line people wouldn’t be spending the money on it if people weren’t watching.

Maybe this is legerdemain, look at the shiny gay we’re flashing in one hand, don’t look at the concussed athlete we’re holding in the other.

I agree. It's ok to have girls only things. And it's ok to have boys only things. I'm not sure why this has to change. But Liberal's can't stand it for some reason.

Because there is strength in having a club that promotes and engenders male-only camaraderie and philosophies, which goes against the class war that they want, so they have to destroy it.

It all goes back to marxism.

They want a bunch of genderless Pat's running around the world. They want to pretend like there is no difference between a man and a woman.

It's an idiotic extreme and so deserves to be ridiculed

Ideally there should be no difference between men and women regarding voting and other civil rights, access to food and resources, and opportunities for jobs. There should be no pay ceiling for one gender vs another. I'd go so far as to say women should be allowed to play pro football if they're good enough. If a lady drills deep field goals or otherwise freakishly out-performs the guys-- fine.

But common sense trumps all. Jobs demanding physical labor should pay unevenly based on productivity, for example.

Where things get stupid is when one gender sets a standard and the other demands equal pay/participation despite never having earned or met that standard.

A female lead dancing cheerleader has earned a proven audience, while a male one hasn't but is being given the same opportunity-- taking it from a more qualified and frankly better performing female.

I hate this whole concept of "market value" when the peak salary is set by one standard (Mahomes) and then demanded to be paid equally by a clearly weaker one (Hurts).

Ideally I agree.

But reality seems more like it's a pick and choose scenario. We want equal pay, but we don't want to be out in -10 degree temperatures fixing an electric line on Christmas Eve. We want equal rights but when it comes to raising a child mom knows best and so should get a preference in custody proceedings. When a mom stays at home to raise the children, it's a full time job that Dad should take over when he gets off work. But Dad who stays at home is a lazy bum who won't support his family. Men and women create a baby together and thus father has to be responsible financially for that child regardless if he wants the child or not. But a woman who will be inconvenienced by that financial burden can elect to abort the child with no input from father. Women want to be able to join the military just like men but god forbid we ever need a draft it's only going to be adult men forced into service.

I'm all for women's rights being equal to men's rights. But there are biological differences that will always make that an impossibility.

Disagree. Why should Dad work all day, then take over Mom's job, giving her the night off while he continues to work?

Help out? Sure. I agree with that. But the way you've worded it here, Dad gets to work the entire day from morning to bedtime while mom works while Dad is at his job, then is off the rest of the time. Nope.

I strongly disagree with this to be clear... I was mocking what you hear women say. The funny thing is when you see stay at home dads talk about how easy and awesome their job is, women absolutely freak out.

Props to those who run a one income household. I just don't know how people do it. Myself and my wife both work. I make plenty of money alone so that she doesn't have to work for us to financially survive. But I don't think our marriage would survive if she was a stay at home mom. Like how is there not resentment in those relationships? And once the kids are in school, what's the expectation for a stay at home mom then? Anyway, props to those who make it work.

Misread it. I read it as that was what you were saying, and not what they’re thinking. Thanks for clearing it up.
