They're usually aggressive in FA, sometimes it works, usually it doesn't. I don't think it will this time primarily because they lost two of their top 5 players last year, including the leader of their most important position group.

Plus Kellen Moore is their OC.
 
I know the cool thing to do is to hate on the Eagles personnel moves, but I'd be geeking out if the Cowboys brought in this haul before the draft.

Huff and White, sure, the rest are meh. Barkley is a good player but anybody on this board saying they wished we gave him 13/year is lying through their teeth.

And I think I prefer Kendricks to White given our circumstances to begin with.

Cowboys 12-5

Yeah they lost two of their better players but they've done a great job evening out their losses. The Cowboys on the other hand are taking on water fast. The Cowboys have pretty much done nothing but hemorrhage players.

Also, that Saquon contract is not a crippling deal. From what I've read, it's essentially a two year deal.

They actually try to cover their holes, I'll give them that. But then again they have to because of their draft record.

But honestly I don't love most of what they've done.

I'm not saying they'll suck, but I don't think they're particularly better. And given how bad they were down the stretch last year they have a long way to go.

Now pull up the quotes from during the 2022 season and last offseason and how it ended up turning out exactly as I said.

Their success in 2022 had more to do with Hurts redlining as a runner than anything, if they can somehow find a new source of offense as impactful as that they might win 12 games next year.

I hope all of you are right. I want them to fail miserably just like everyone else.

I just think it's delusional to trash all of their personnel moves each and every year.

The Eagles could somehow get their hands on prime Patrick Mahomes, Justin Jefferson, and TJ Watt and some on this board will be all "yeah but....."
