LOL @ The Eagles

You guys really think the Eagles are going to give up the equivalent of a 1st for a RB and give them an extension making them probably the highest paid RB in the league?

You think they will have to give up a first?

Supposedly that's what the Colts want, or something that equates to a 1, so yea I think it'll be a 1 or at least a 2 and 4. That's one thing but having to give the guy an Elliott-like extension would make it quite a pill.

Ultimately this is why I don't think the Colts will trade him. Certainly they don't get more than the McCaffery trade.

If anyone flaunts the fact that the cap is an illusion better than Roseman, let me know.

Somewhat although Roseman has never spent a 1 on a RB so it's hard for me to see him giving up a 1 or something similar to it, along with making the guy the highest paid RB in the league. That Hurts extension will be kicking in next year as well.

If they do it it'd be the ultimate all in move though, very high risk, high reward. The reward obviously is that it might make them NFC favorites, the risk is that their OL and DL are about to get hollowed out in the next year or two and they'll be stuck with a glorified RB at QB with 50 million cap hits for several years and the highest paid RB in the league.

The Colts have burned through three of Taylor's most impactful years.

You are basically hoping he's healthy and paying for about a season and a half of premium RB play.

Also, what does this say about Swift? Detroit happily drafted his replacement and traded him away, and his new team supposedly can't wait to trade for another guy.

It means the Eagles don't have a real RB. Them rolling with Gainwell as the starter would be like if we went into next year with Vaughn as our RB1 and a bunch of JAGs behind him.

Yeah, they are showing signs that they might have miscalculated on both Swift and Penny.

They are attempting to muffle the all world talent that is Gainwell, but it ain’t working.
